“Aces” Hair Show in Toronto
Allilon in association with Davines and housed by our friends at Metro Beauty where Allilon was introduced to the Canadian market. We had the pleasure of spending time with the most passionate of hair artist from all around Ontario.
On this event we introduced the Aces Collection tells the story of Angelo Pangalos founder of www.forwardthesmile.com. An inspirational person with one clear message; “I just want to reach out and touch people with the most simplest of things, using my magic or my music as a medium with the goal of generating a smile.”
Aces has been created with the representation of magic with cards; prestidigitation. All of the haircuts have distinct reference to the shapes found on traditional playing cards. Hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds are the main influences for the sectioning patterns and shapes within the collection.
To reciprocate the colours present in a pack of Bicycle playing cards we used a palette of three; pure white, blood red and inky black were used throughout the collection. Astutely placed sections combined with bold colours accentuate and depict the shapes within Aces, adopting the disciplined approach used to perfect magic illusions.
